Perspective

This week made me realize I am so blessed. I watched my 85 year old Grandmother skydive, I floated the river with my husband, kids, and my dear friend Melanie, and I spent hours listening to children laugh and laugh. My life is good. It is full of love, joy, and stability. I wonder what those others have..... It seems they have a lot of drama and misery. Well, I want no part of that and I refuse to feed into their need for a fix.

I am happy and I am no longer going to let that be overshadowed by their pettiness, immaturity, and lack of emotional stability. I think the reason they can not keep a happy relationship or even friendships might be a sign as to their problems....NOT MINE.

Their issues are NOT MINE.

Their misery is NOT MINE.

Thank goodness!!!!!
